SHOT 2025 PSA Sabre11

Palmetto State Armory is among the most creative and bold firearms companies. They have created look-alike firearms that are half the cost of their original inspiration. At this year’s SHOT Show, PSA unveiled the Sabre11, which is essentially a clone of the Staccotto 2011 (though they can’t refer to it due to trademarks). Like the 2011, the Sabre11 is a double-stack 1911-style pistol chambered in Luger 9mm. It has a full-length lower accessory rail and an RMR cut slide.

This is a design prototype and PSA is gauging interest in this pistol by allowing fans to vote for their top 3 SHOT Show concept guns on their website. The top-voted guns will be developed into production guns, just like the original Jackl and the upcoming M5.7 pistol.

PSA Emerge Bolt Gun: SHOT Show

Palmetto State Armory are the Mad Scientists of gun makers, coming out with new designs and recreations of guns. This year they brought out over a dozen prototypes including their first bolt action rifle. The Emerge is patterned after the Remington 700 and is designed to be compatible with 700 after market parts and accessories.

The PSA Emerge will come standard with Magpul furnature and an adjustable trigger that you’d usually find with more premium builds. Not surprising as PSA is known for giving us Poors more gun for the money. The first calibers to be developed will be 308 and 6.5 Creedmor.

PSA has too many ideas and but too little engineering time so they’re asking fans to vote for their favorite prototype guns that PSA should focus on. This means the 3 guns with the highest votes will be most likely to see testing and production later this year. Cast your vote at https://palmettostatearmory.com/

Vote for PSA’s next guns

PSA has made a name for themselves in creating a wide range of ARs, AKs, famous and fantasy firearms. This year at SHOT Show they brought over a dozen new designs including a pump shotgun, a bolt action rifle, and an MP7 look alike. All in all, too many for them to realistically bring into production next year. So they’re asking the public to help choose their next 3 guns by voting for their 3 favorite. PSA X5.7 first look at SHOT Show

Palmetto State Armory are the Mad Scientists of gun makers, coming out with new designs and recreations of guns. This year they brought out over a dozen prototypes including their MP7-a-like named the X5.7 (which may not be the final name). This PDW is based on their Rock pistol they debuted 3 years ago at SHOT. With a polymer housing, and retractable brace, at first glance it could be mistaken for a mini HK MP7.

This means the 3 guns with the highest votes will be most likely to see testing and production later this year. Cast your vote at https://palmettostatearmory.com/

New PSA Soviet Arms AKs

If Variety is the Spice of Life then Palmetto State Armory (PSA) is the howling Ghost Pepper of AKs. PSA used to be known as a retailer of budget AR components and AK kit guns build by small regional manufacturers but in the last few years, PSA has branched out into becoming its own legitimate gun brand. This year they’re debuting not just one or two new AK models, but a half dozen.

These new AK’s under their Soviet Arms brand span a range of historical AK like the Norinco Type 56 Chinese AK to to modern variants of AKMs and Kinkovs used by Russian special forces. PSA has long been known for making military and historical clone guns including Vietnam era AK’s and M-16’s and this year a new 5.56 chambered clone Stg 44!

If PSA is releasing a half-dozen different new AK variants wasn’t impressive enough, this same year they’re also releasing a similar number of new AR rifles under their Sabre brand. These AR’s will retail for under $1000 but come pre-installed with premium components like an ambi charging handle, 3.5lb trigger, and a low-profile hand guard. It’s going to be a busy year for PSA.

I end with this paradox: Is an AK clone of an AK clone still a clone?

New PSA Sabre AR line

If Variety is the Spice of Life then Palmetto State Armory (PSA) is the 11 Herbs and Spices of US gun makers. PSA used to be known as a maker and retailer of budget AR components from small regional manufacturers but in the last few years has branched out into becoming its own legitimate gun brand. This year they’re debuting their new Sabre line of budget premium build ARs.

The Sabre ARs come factory pre-installed with upgrade components like Ambi selector switches, 3.5lb duty trigger, Ambi charging handle, and a tuned barrel nut that allows for an extremely low profile hand guard without the usual bolt tabs. It’s everything most custom build AR makers would drop into their ARs but the whole rifle is planned to have a street price under $1000!

PSA is releasing a half-dozen different variants. If that wasn’t impressive enough, this same year they’re also releasing a similar number of new AK rifles under their Soviet Arms brand. These are clones of historic and current model ComBlock AKs including clones of Chinese and Soviet Era rifles. They’re also releasing historical clones of the M16A1 and the Stg44. It’s going to be a busy year for PSA.
