Prime Day is a shopping event with deals exclusively for Amazon Prime members. Amazon held it’s first Prime Day on July 15, 2015, to commemorate the website’s 20th anniversary. Each year it has grown though some have critizied brands for hiking up prices before Prime and Black Friday, only to bring them down to “normal” prices for Prime Day.

FINAL BRAND CONTEST CLUE
Despite pioneering mail-order retail, this brand closed its catalog mail-order business in 1993 to concentrate on its brick-and-morter stores, completely missing the internet-driven e-commerce revolution.
