KelTec is famous for designing some of the most innovative guns in the industry, as they are infamous for making some of the weirdest guns in the firearms industry. Last year, they put out a clip-fed pistol the PR-5.7, and this year they developed that into a .308 chambered PR-AT3.

With both pistols, KelTec chose to trade the box magazine found in nearly all modern pistols with an internal magazine that is clip reloaded, to allow them to create a slimmer CCW pistol with a higher internal capacity of 13 rounds. Its a “choice.”

This year, KelTec also rolled out with upgrades to their folding PCC, the KelTec Sub2000 CQB, which has an integral suppressor barrel. They also rolled out a Gen2 to their bullpup shotgun, the KS7, creating a more “mainstream” design with a full length Picatinny rail and adding a covered lower Picatinny rail to the pump slide to allow for a vertical grip.

In 2026, Keltec chose to refine rather than revolutionize.
