At the Palmetto State Armory booth, I got hands-on with Palmetto State Armory’s (PSA) newest versions of their Dagger; their “cheaper-than” Glock compatible striker-fired pistols. With a street-price half that of a Glock, their Dagger fits in well with PSA’s reputation for creating value-tier ARs and AK’s. This year they are also offering a more competition focused version with a RMR cut slide and a threaded barrel, for the same price (Approx $399). They say that eventually all of their Daggers will come with RMR cut slides standard.
We also got a look at the prototype of their “57 Rock”, which joins the FN Five-seveN, Ruger 57, and Kel-Tec’s P50 pistols utilizing the FN P90’s 5.7x28mm cartridge. It has much more appealing aesthetics of a modern striker-fired pistol despite its huge capacity of 23 rounds in a standard magazine.
I would love to test these myself but unfortunately, living in California with its inane “Handgun Roster” law (certified by then AG Kamala Harris), we can’t have nice things.
